For the time being, the monument to V.I. Lenin, surrounded by the busts of K.Marks and F. Engles against a background of the former city "Desk of Honour" is located in the teritory of the Kishinev Free Enterprise Zone. It is difficult to treat it without a smile. Our history is reflected in our attitude to monuments. They are the first monuments that were dismantled and not destroyed. Mothers will show them to their children, tell them that many people worship these people for decades. Many people will say that this is wrong. But now we live in the free state and the zone is free, therefore, if somebody will feel nostalgia for the past, he or she has the possibility to go to his or her idols. But not all the monuments have such destiny.
