The monument to G.I. Kotovsky was put in 1954. The authors of the monument are sculptor L. Dubinovsky with the group of colleagues, architect F. Naumov. We see the vigorous majestic figure of the brigade commander, calmly sitting on the legendary horse - Orlik. The attitude to Kotovsky personality nowadays is problematic. There are the witnesses allowing to consider him to be a well-known bandit. There are alive people whose relatives suffered from him. However, the monument has preserved. Historians will give him his due and mothers will tell their children about him.
